Lee Christie participated in the Ninth Annual Walking for Dreams fundraising family and pet walk on June 3. It started in downtown Indianapolis at Buggs Temple along the canal.

Lee, along with his family and friends, walked in the event to raise and contribute funds on behalf of  the National Junior Tennis League Indianapolis (NJTL). Lee is a member of the board of directors for the  (NJTL).

“It was a great afternoon. We are grateful to everyone who came out to raise funds for NJTL,” said Christie. “Walking for Dreams is a great event where each person chooses a participating non-profit organization during the months leading up to the walk, and then represents that non-profit during the walk.”

Walking for Dreams is a 5K family and pet walk administered by the Sycamore Foundation, which was named “Outstanding Foundation” in 2003 by the Association of American Fundraising Professionals. Walking for Dreams was started in 2004 to help local Indianapolis non-profit organizations raise the funds necessary to fulfill their mission and continue to provide their services to aid Indianapolis community members.
